He was a special assistant to the president in the George Herbert Walker Bush White House,” (from his website) and is the man who coined the term “compassionate conservative.” [In 1979 he also co-founded Mercy Corps, which has distributed more than $1.5 billion of food and medicine around the world.] In his latest blog post, Ron Paul’s Excellent Minnesota Adventure he starts at the beginning and tells it like it is: How Dr. Paul was abused during the debates, how supporters were abused at the caucuses, and how we’ll likely just get the same treatment at the national convention. Of course, none of that was news. Which is why we’re having our own convention.
