Two comments: first, this was aired on CSPAN2 and is about two years old, but it's a good video regardless. Go to the actual YouTube page to see more info on what the video is and where it comes from.
Second, if you don't already own a gun, you need to get your butt out there and buy one. Two caveats: don't go to your local gun store and buy a "registered" gun. You'll just end up on their unofficial confiscation list later. Instead, visit a gun show, check your paper's classifieds, or look online to find a gun you can buy locally, off the books.
If you live in an oppressive place like New York or Kalifornia where you are required to "register" your gun even if it's a private sale, then I have one question for you: why are you still there? MOVE!
I suggest my own state of Wyoming, last of the free states here in the U.S. I guess if you're one of those New Englander Yanks you can go to New Hampshire, though. Have fun in the traffic. :)

I don't own a gun. I don't want them in my house, but, I will fight to the death to keep my right to bear arms. I live in the wood w/ pure clean well water and the bird and crickets and all kinds of critters, love it! the people who live around me have about 10 million guns and I have already talk to them about "using" one of theirs. They said no problem. Country folk, got love em.
how can one tell when this was actually aired?
I've been thinking about buying a gun, I just haven't gotten around to it. I'd better do it soon before they legislate away my right to buy a gun.
If you're new to guns I would strongly suggest taking a safety class like the NRA's personal protection class. Don't assume that it's just common sense. They will teach you rules that create layers of safety around the gun so that one mistake will not result in a tragedy.
You can probably find out where to take the class from your local gun store or gun club, or maybe the yellow pages.
Too many people who buy a gun for the first time end up having an accidental discharge. If they're lucky they just shoot the refrigerator. If they're not lucky they have a disaster.
Get submitted before? I could've sworn I've seen this before. I'm fairly certain a bit later after that hearing Johnson was arrested for a bomb plot.
"A wise and frugal government, which shall leave men free to regulate their own pursuits of industry and improvement, and shall not take from the mouth of labor and bread it has earned - this is the sum of good government."
-Thomas Jefferson
Great video, although it must be quite a few years old.
