Late Friday, August 29, 2008, state regulators closed Integrity Bank of Georgia and named the FDIC as receiver. The bank branches will reopen Tuesday as part of Regions Bank of Alabama.

Sometime it seems like the Fed and the media are trying to use Jedi mind tricks:

"Nothing to see here America! Just move along! You don't neeeeed to know about the collapsing economy! Pay no attention to these bank failures!"
