GLOBAL GENERAL STRIKE
he Economy around the world is already dead. It's just waiting for the Executioner to come along and cut the head off. A Global Strike is what is needed. Those that do not agree I'm sorry for you all. However you will thank us later. And yes you will be able to keep your toys and buy many more and as an added bonus how about a future for your Children.

There are all kinds of things we can do.

Stop watching TV( hard one for alot of you I know it but try you will find you won't even miss it.)

Stop using cell phones when you don't need them.( save minutes all you will minus 3000minutes)

Good question and one that I think the answer to is NOPE. These elections are decided long before anyone steps into a voting booth and puts a hole in a card or presses a button on a screen.

I've been doing these things for two years. Doesn't seem to be working. I'll try and write this in coherent, family-friendly English.

Here's a better idea:
Start a garden, whether it be a planter box in your urban pad or a full on farm. This will cut your subsidies to corporate farming interests. Join a food coop if there's one in your area (there likely is) and utilize your local farmer's market as often as possible.

Stop going to movies, drop your newspaper subscription, and watch only educational TV (PBS, Discovery, whatever). No point in subsidizing the corporate media who just lie to you anyway.

Get a bicycle and start riding that around town for your errands and whatnot. You'll be amazed how much gas you save doing that when you realize how often you drive just to the corner market to get a couple of things or to visit friends.

Start a blog, join a forum, or otherwise start talking to people about what you're doing. No, Breakthematrix.com doesn't count, you're preaching to the choir here. Find a gardening or hobby or other forum and do it there. Don't write all political stuff, of course, but mix it in with your regular discourse about your new found hobby.

STOP VOTING. It's a waste of resources and only validates the Republocrats that run for office. If you insist on voting, vote only for third party candidates, even if the only choice is Communist. Better than the major parties' offering, I'm sure. Instead of voting, try putting out signs on your lawn/house/street that say things like "RE-ELECT NO ONE" and "VOTE WITH A BULLET" or whatever catches your fancy. Make the signs yourself and be sneaky about putting them up and you can pretty much put whatever you'd like on them. One of my favorites that I've seen is one with a picture of the White House with a target painted on it. Around that it says: "Obama, next time aim here."

GO OUT AND FRIKKIN DO SOMETHING INSTEAD OF SITTING AROUND ONLINE BULLS$%!!ING ABOUT IT. The time for debate is OVER, so stop wasting your time talking to others who're already on the same page and arguing over worthless details and nuances. Instead, take Samuel Adam's lead and start rabble-rousing instead. BE EFFECTIVE.

Realize that the system doesn't work anymore, people. You can't fight the system using the system. It's been tried and it hasn't been working. Stop joining political parties, putting all your hopes behind one candidate, and otherwise working within the so-called "Democratic System" we enjoy. It's broken and won't be repaired using its own rules. It's time to make it irrelevant and to go around it. That's what the opposition has done, if you haven't noticed. We're busy fighting on the battlefield while they snipe at us from the treeline.

To take this Republic back, we're going to have to get nasty, dirty, and mean. No more nice guy tactics and happy little slogans with suit-and-tie candidates and three-man street corner protests. We need to start showing up at pro-him or pro-her candidate rallies and disrupting them, shouting over the speakers, and generally getting arrested for causing a scene. We need to start asking them questions at their press conferences (it's amazingly easy to get press credentials...DO IT) that they don't want to be asked. Be insistent. Ask and ask and ask. LOUDLY.

Start walking the sidewalks in front of their houses to protest their actions. Make their families see what they do for a living. Again, GET NOISY. Call the press and tell them you're doing it. Try to get the mainstream media to show up. Definitely get the indie media there. Heck, they'll probably help you. Bring their problems straight to them at dinner time, on the weekend, and at the golf course. Make their lives suck.

Protest the IRS buildings, take photos of the people who work there (that REALLY makes them angry). Those IRS agents use assumed names for a reason.

Be prepared to get arrested, to be told that what you're doing is wrong, to be lectured by morons and elected officials (I know, redundant) about how you're not being realistic or you're not helping anyone or how you've "gone over the line." Be prepared to tell them that when they take over 50% of your income as their own, THEY are the ones who've gone over the line. Since you can't afford to take them to court and use their supposedly legal means to fight the system, thanks to their confiscation of your assets, you instead have to do what you have to do to protect yourself and your family. That means using guerrilla tactics that don't involve large sums of money or big shares in major media.

THAT is how we're going to take this country back. Like many others, I made the mistake of thinking that Ron Paul will save us. He can't. He's only one man and he's only able to do what he's done. WE THE PEOPLE have to do it. We have to be our own savior and do this ourselves. WE ARE THE REPUBLIC'S MESSIAH!

I say NO!

yep, I have been off tv (well not btm tv) for 2 years now and I have been totally against cell phones since I was given one by my mother when I was in high school. I do, admittedly, have one but I only use it when I need to - really. My phone doesn't even have many features on it - I only asked for a phone that can dial out and call...hahaha...the guy looked at me like I was a fool to not want those fancy phones that can take pics and record footage but whatever. I think cell phones and ipods have turned people into anti-social robots.
oh, and yeah, im broke so I don't buy anything.
