I have personally pursued this "rabbit down the hole" for the better part of 20 years. Consistent with my background, training, and research I find that I must completely agree with and endorse the content of this post. My only caveat is that it doesn't go far enough.
In the intelligence parlance there are things called "Essential Elements of Information," which, when determined and correlated, provide a clear picture of an enemy's disposition, capabilities, and intent. It is usually a difficult task to peel through the different layers of disinformation and "counter intelligence" especially as one nears the most important core of data.
Many tools are used in the effort to obscure, including concerted efforts to create certain "sensitivities" and feelings of "political correctness" that work to discourage the average person from seriously considering and/or accepting the validity of information presented. Some people would refer to this as labeling certain things as "taboo topics."
Another counter-tactic is the use of vitreolic attacks against the writer and/or the presenter, usually by the use of ad hominem and rarely by the use of reasoned debate. When one experiences such an attack, it actually serves to some degree as a validation of the information under attack.
If anyone is interested in examining an additional source that speaks to the content of this post a companion reader, Murder By Injection can be found at
http://www.ziopedia.org/downloads/murder_by_injection.pdf
This is the only .pdf source I have been able to find. For those who enjoy hardcopy reading the book can be found at

The books are pricey and rare.
I've researched into alot of this information in the past and didn't know that this subject was
documented to the extent that you have posted here.....Thanks Matt !
