Philadelphia is referrered as "The City Of Brotherly Love"? Is this a Constitutional mindset? Having traits typical of brothers.Friendly ,Kind,Helpful,Loving. Pennsylvania means PennsWoods.William Penn got it from his Dad, who got it from CharlesII(The MerryMonarch). Pennsylviana was established by the Quakers .Quakers thought that people should believe inwardly,and did not need the guidance of a church or clergy.They rejected war,didn't like slavery of any form,and wanted religious tolerance.Political Freedom cherished.Ole Wille Penn was a Friend of The Indians. A Momument in Harrisburg is tribute to this fact.Wille was was fair an kind to the Indians he bought there land and didn't steal it from them.
This is one version of why Philadelphia's orginal mindset became known as"The City Of Brotherly Love".
In1681William Penn wrote:"My Friend I have great Love and regard towards you.I desire to win ,and gain your Love and Friendship by a Kind,just and Peaceable Life".
This is what our Founding Fathers Built upon a Mindset.These men were Enlightened .Enlightened and Genius.This Mindset formed our Constitution.They knew what could happen.They gave us are Preserve in this Document .This Mindset is my understanding.
