The book 'Free Lunch' is excellent evidence and breakdown of the last 50 years. Showing the rise of weath after WWII to the fall of the current days. Johnston proves 'beyond a doubt' how we are living on less than our parents did just 25 years ago while the rich have used our excess production against us for their own benefits. If you were 'hot' before you read this you should be 'steamed' by the time you get done. Great tax analysis in the back of the book.
