It is time to take action! It is becoming increasingly apparent to me that some have given up on the process instead of fighting it tooth and nail the whole way. Why are we giving McCain a coronation? When his crew rolled into my town in Kansas his supporters said that he had this thing locked up. Low and behold Huckabee had an incredible victory in the State and they are bound to him. If they are going to vote for McCain they will be penalized no? Won't they have to wait till the second round to cast their vote? This isn't the only State in this perdicament. I don't know about you but I haven't heard too many glowing reviews of the McCain machine even now as we assume him the presumptive nominee. It almost doesn't matter to anyone at this point (religious right, libertarian, social conservative, or moderates) as long as the the GOP flag bearer can beat Obama. Why are we looking so far into the future asking will you vote for Barr, Baldwin, or write-in Paul when a key stage of the war isn't over yet? Do we really think that any of the aforementioned solutions will have an impact and will prevent Obama or McCain from succeeding to office? We still have one last chance to make Ron Paul the GOP's nominee for 2008 and what serious and organized efforts are we making to that end?

This movement is at a significant crossroads. We can decide to give up now and wish for something better in 2012 or we can get off our knees and make a spectacular effort to change the minds of as many delegates as we can. Help the delegates who are putting their time, careers, reputations, and fortunes on the line to even get to the Convention a fighting chance. Do you even know if all the Ron Paul delegates in your State will even have the financial means to attend?

The dvds4delegates idea is a fantastic start that we need to truly commit to but it cannot be the only card in our deck. Can we begin talking about how to affect a difference at the Convention and formulating a plan of action now? We have truly lost an incredible amount of momentum because of the defeatists. I am upset and afraid of what's happening in my country. We need a revolution like we need the air to breathe and water to quench our thirsts. Our answers to the questions must be heard. The delegates are so very few in number but they will have an incredible impact on the next 4 years of policy in America. Will we be a part of it? I would like to think that a plan is already in the works turn the tables on this entire situation. Let us now empower one another and say once again that we drew a line in the sand in '08. When it came down to the wire and to impress on those delegates the message of Paul, the destruction of the Party by nominating McCain, that we did not stand idly by and do nothing.

This is my hope for us all
-Will

Well the GOP can realize

Well the GOP can realize their blunder before it is too late but there needs to be a landslide of resistance in September. I was just watching a rally in Berlin where Obama was presenting his nonsense to a foreign audience. I'm not sure how many people were there but it looked like the MLK speech in DC.

The GOP is in the denial phase right now and it won't last. The only way I see McCain defeating him at this point beyond plain fraud is if there is low Democrat voter turn out but this fear mongering over Obama will likely bolster even longer lines and even more people committed to fight against a McCain Presidency.

I am open to any creative plans to turn the tide on McCain before the Convention or even during.

On a lighter note RP is 1,000 bottles up on McCain at Campaign Cola. While Hillary has a laughable 1,776.

LoL Ron Paul Minnesota that

LoL
Ron Paul Minnesota

that rox.

We can clench our buttcheeks and hope the GOP comes to their sense and drops McCain. If McCain was a middle class American, his kids would have dumped him in a nursing home years ago. Between his war wounds and his other health issues hes basically the living dead. His penchant for misspeaking makes GWB look scholarly.

I feel like the leadership of the Republican party was like, "Well Jeb Bush is on special assignment right now, and theres not anyone else as or more stupid than George, so whats the next best thing??"

"I know I know!! What about a senile old man??"

And so John McCain became the presumptive nominee.

If you put a noose around the neck of a neo con and put him up on a stool, he'll kick the stool out from under himself because "well for better or for worse I'm already here."
