Eventually gets too strange

I have read Rule by Secrecy and it was much more interesting than I expected until about the last 3 chapters. The end was just too weird for me. I just don't buy any ancient alien gods.

Try The Ultimate Frontier by Eklal Kueshana if you like ancient weird conspiracy theories.
