The Constitution.

Maybe, just maybe,if we teach the "Constitution/Current Events" in school, our youth will not be chomping at the bit to join the Military,to fight an "Unconstitutional War",and Maybe, just maybe, our youth will stay home and defend the "Constitution"aka (America).
I fail to see how fighting the 'Bush War" is more patriotic than defending our "Constitution".
Will someone please explain to me why our youth is knocking down the recruiters door(s).Are they just Ignorant,or do they really prefer Killing Innocent People,...Men,Women & Children,to saving their own country?...I hope not!
What the hell is wrong with Americans these day`s?

It's an old trick...

What is being use on us and the children is an old trick from military tactics. It's the method used to inspire soldiers when faced with an unknown enemy. It is a type of racism, based on nationalism. It is simple in terms of concept, but confuses and invigorates the mind allowing no other reasoning in.
How else can you inspire normal people to become bloodthirsty, to the point of raping and pillaging another normaly peacful people? This has been done throughout history, modern times are no different.

"People are stupid; given proper motivation, almost anyone will believe almost anything. Because people are stupid, they will believe a lie because they want to believe it’s true, or because they are afraid it might be true." -Terry Goodkind

I think it has to do a lot

I think it has to do a lot with the main stream media. I believe the trick to changing things is to learn how people like you came to this conclusion then we can start finding solutions.
