SCHOOL NURSE RESPONSE: Please be advised that it does not matter how I feel about vaccines, I have to follow the rules and regulations set down by the state of Texas via our school district.

I HAVE TO FOLLOW THE RULES... BUT DOES THAT EXCLUDE HER FROM EDUCATING THE PARENTS AND THE STUDENTS TO THEIR RIGHTS TO LEARN THAT THEY HAVE A CHOICE???

SCHOOL NURSE: It is not mandatory that students have these vaccines but if they do not; they have to have an exemption form on file.

IT IS NOT MANDATORY THAT THESE STUDENTS HAVE THESE VACCINES...OMG, BUT IF THE STUDENT DOES NOT HAVE ALL OF THE "REQUIRED" SHOTS THEY ARE NOT ALLOWED TO ATTEND SCHOOL UNTIL THEY DO...

THE SHOTS ARE REQUIRED BUT YET THESE VACCINES ARE NOT MANDATORY??? What kind of logic is this?

AT THE SAME TIME THE PARENTS ARE KEPT FROM THE INFORMATION THAT THEY have the option to REQUEST an exempt form for vaccinations. THIS IS PURE MADNESS!!!!

SCHOOL NURSE: Their parents can get this form from the state, fill it out and return it to the school. Then they are considered current in their immunization and allowed to attend school.

And ALLOWED TO ATTEND SCHOOL??? When did it become going to school conditional only if you are current in their immunizations???

THE PARENTS HAVE NO IDEA THAT SUCH AN EXEMPTION FORM EXISTS. BECAUSE NO ONE WILL INFORM THEM. PARENTS BELIEVE THEY HAVE NO OPTIONS. THE CHILDREN LEARN TO BELIEVE THEY HAVE NO OPTIONS. WHY IS THIS INFORMATION KEPT FROM THE PARENTS AND THE STUDENTS?? ARE WE BACK TO THE DARK AGES?????

SCHOOL NURSE: This has been the district's policy for all the years I have worked for AISD. But I will never tell a child one way or the other to get or not get them. That is the parents choice and not mine.

I WILL NEVER TELL A CHILD/NOR THE PARENT. "THAT THE PARENT HAS A CHOICE". OMG.... HOW CAN ANY ONE CHOOSE IF NO ONE IS WILLING TO INFORM THEM???? ESPECIALLY IN LIGHT OF THE FACT WHEN THE ONLY EDUCATION THEY GET ABOUT VACCINATIONS IS ... YOUR Student can NOT come to school until their shots are up to date.

People for liberty and for freedom this is UNACCEPTABLE!!!!.

This not an isolated exception THIS IS THE RULE in Public Education This is how it works in the CLASSROOM; this is how the people who run the school system think.

WHY DO WE THE PEOPLE KEEP PAYING FOR A SYSTEM THAT DOES NOT TEACH, DOES NOT INFORM, DOES NOT PREPARE OUR FUTURE GENERATIONS TO LEARN HOW TO STAY FREE AND PROTECT THEIR LIBERTIES.

Instead the public education system's efforts are spent into making sure to eliminate from the student's creative mind the "willingness to question accepted beliefs".

The Renaissance was marked by a time when "Mankind" found its way to question accepted beliefs and it turned out to be a great moment of ADVANCEMENT for humanity.

PUBLIC EDUCATION HAS RETURNED US BACK TO THE "DARK AGES". This is one of the reasons Americans have gone to sleep. Their ability to question has been shut down. turned off
