Goodmorning Everyone:

Here we go, this is the next to the last step in a long process in taking steps to save our forests from closure by the forest service.

Monday , SB 1264 will be voted on by the COW "Committee of the Whole". On the House floor. There are 60 members in the House and everyone of them needs to hear from not just the people of Arizona but all over the country. It is crucial that we get enough yes votes to override the Govenor, we have no idea what she will do with this bill , however based on her track record she will favor the federal government over her own state.

There are a number of bullet points that need to be addressed in your letters,. SB 1264 , visavie RS 2477 is a states rights issue. The Forest must remain open , for fire suppression, tourism,recreation,fire wood, logging, game, and game retrevial,tax revenue to the state, and finally our freedoms as citizens of the state of Arizona.

Take the time to do this , ask all your friends and neighbors to call or email the House Members,. Especially the democrats, that is where our problem will be,.. They must hear from their constituients, they must know that we are watching,.. If you have any in your district let them know that there is a election coming ,.. They have the power and they will want to keep it. The Speaker has given us all weekend to mobilize and make the contacts, so lets take advantage of the weekend and make sure that they get the message by Monday Morning .

When you ask your friends and neighbors from out of state to write,. Tell them to memtion that if the forest is closed there will be no reason to come to Arizona.

There can be no compromise with the forest service,. Our roads trails and two tracks must remain open.
