Criteria for Material Submitted

I am wondering if we are to submit only material we create, or if we can submit URL's from other news sites that have good articles? I certainly don't want BTM to get flack for stealing intellectual property! So the question is whether placing a URL link is considered stealing.

I submitted an article from an honest economist on my profile. This is an example of what I have a question about... If you like it, bump it up because it is a solid article about the economy.
