I am so proud of the Mayor of Salt Lake City telling Faux news how he doesn't agree with President Bush and is planning a protest during the president's visit! GOOD JOB Salt Lake City! Video below.

Rocky Anderson

When I lived in Utah, I dealth with Rocky Anderson on several issues. While I don't agree with him much of the time (he's basically a liberal and used to be an ACLU lawyer), we had a lot of common ground on a lot of issues. One thing about Rocky: he's never afraid to buck the powers and make noise. He's masterful at using the press and his position to cause problems for the neo-cons.

During the visit of then Attorney General Ashcroft, he appeared for press interviews right in front of our lines of protest (we circled the hotel the AG was going to speak in). He was very helpful in pressing our case with the Salt Lake City Council to become a USA PATRIOT Act-free zone (that didn't pass, the council eclared it was a federal affair and none of their business - I've been contacted by the local Meetup for the Bill of Rights Defense Committee as they plan to make another try).

Anyway, Rocky is great, even though he's basically a liberal Democrat. :)

That's very interesting. He

That's very interesting. He definately spoke his mind! That's the second time I've seen a "Live" interview on Faux news where it didn't go the way they anticipated. What sucks is that the majority of people don't realize what Faux is up to with there manipulating comments. I'm pretty sure they would eat there own young if it would serve there cause. LMW
