Just moved here from a small town in Michigan. I have two kids who still live in Michigan and are on there own working and going to college. I am a huge Ron Paul supporter! Love his message and what he stands for and I am very thankful for how hard he works to restore freedom and liberty. Our country needs a leader like him but I don't think I need to convince the audience of BTM of his conservative platform. He has alot of fans here. I have found the hardest part for people to wrap there minds around is smaller government. When Ron Paul talks about cutting programs that the public has come to count on, they start backing away and immediately label Dr. Paul as an extreamist. The general public has been programed to rely on the government and fear it at the same time. So I ask "Are we so incapable of handling our own affairs that we need big brother to hold our hand for us?" I think not! My self appointed job for the last 6 months has been to educate the masses; to open there eyes to what the real news is and what's really going on in the world and how it truely affects everyone whether they want to believe it or not. In the short time that I've plugged away at educating the masses on public affairs, our failing economy, foreign affairs, ect.; it never fails to amaze me how little people really know.
